Robi Domingo: Sandara and I are just friends
“Sandara (Park) and I are good friends. Whatever you’re hearing is not true.”
That was the statement issued by TV host Robi Domingo in denying that the Korean star was the cause of his breakup with Gretchen Ho, his girlfriend of almost four years.
“There’s no third party,” he declared at the recent launch of the latest ABS-CBN variety show “I Can Do That!”, which he cohosts with Alex Gonzaga. “Let’s give Sandara the respect that she deserves, at the same time let’s respect Gretchen, too. She’s a great person,” he added.
He explained the reason for his breakup with the volleyball-star-turned-TV-personality was that they both chose to prioritize their careers over love.
“We don’t have time for each other anymore. We’ve talked about it. We both agreed that there’s no more chance to grow [within the relationship]. To break up was a mutual decision,” Robi said.

Robi also said they had to prioritize work “because we’ve waited for the breaks we’re having now for so long. We both love our jobs and are dedicated to them. It’s unfair if we continue holding on to the relationship but not be able to give the time that the other one deserves.”
