As acting seems not to be in the mix for him right now, controversial celebrity Baron Geisler looks like he is channeling his artistry into another form— through singing.
In his Facebook page, the actor posted two videos of himself singing with a band that goes by the name of “Bisquit”. It includes five members, with Geisler taking on vocals.
Fans may have a hard time listening to the first video uploaded, as the song has some incomprehensible lyrics.
At the end of the video, Geisler uttered a parting statement which said, “Hi this is Bisquit, we want you to join the freedom of love. We love you. Amen.”
Another band member also spoke in the video, telling the viewers, “We want you to ‘gringe,’ we want you to ‘gringe.'” Geisler answered, “And that’s a new word, [expletive] ‘gringe.’ Right, guys?”
In a second performance video posted just a few hours ago, the band did a song that now has lyrics that are more comprehensible.
The videos have gained some mixed reactions, and with the band’s rock and roll sound, netizens were quick to say that the band is reminiscent of a Filipino rock band icon.
While some observers might dismiss the video posts to be possible goofy tricks yet again from the troubled actor, a video which formally introduces his band makes quite an impression that there could be more to it than just fun.
The video post further stated that the band and all its releases are from “Ano Tara Na Productions”, with a caption that said, “Bisquit nationwide #ABANGAN” (Bisquit nationwide, #WATCHOUT)
Because of the series of brawls and disputes which the actor has been involved with, the Professional Artists Managers, Inc. (PAMI) has banned its members from accepting projects that involve Geisler.
The ban was made following a peeing incident in a movie set, where Geisler urinated on fellow actor Ping Medina. JB
