Clayton plays boy toy to Pacino’s Tennessee Williams in new play
Actor Garrett Clayton, fresh from portraying gay porn actor Brent Corrigan in the film “King Cobra,” is currently appearing alongside Al Pacino in “God Looked Away,” which has an ongoing run at the Pasadena Playhouse until March 19.
Clayton plays Luke, one of the boy toys of gay playwright Williams (“Cat on a Hot Tin Roof”). The younger actor is scantily clad once again, mostly in black briefs this time, according to reports. Luke is a teenage runaway and hustler.
“It would be more of a struggle if I wasn’t comfortable with myself,” the ex-Disney actor told CBS’ Juan Fernandez. “I’m just in my underwear onstage … it’s fine.”
The play, based on Williams’ biography by Dotson Rader, is being developed for Broadway.

Boreanaz nixes ‘Buffy’ reunion
“Bones” actor David Boreanaz won’t be appearing in “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” reunion specials to reprise his old role any time soon.
Boreanaz, who played the repentant vampire Angel, recently told entertainment website Parade: “No, never; that’s done, see ya… I have no problem with the cult audience, and I would totally get back into the genre, but I’m not a big reunion guy.”
The “Buffy” TV series is celebrating its 20th year this month. Boreanaz was a series regular for three seasons and was so popular that he was given a spinoff show, “Angel,” which ran for five seasons. The actor has been playing his FBI agent character in “Bones” for 12 years. It will end on March 28.—OLIVER PULUMBARIT
