The 26-year-old “Harry Potter” star has been under fire as of late, after posing topless in the latest Vanity Fair magazine issue.

After being branded as a “hypocritical feminist” by naysayers, Watson addressed the rumors concerning her supposed  anti-feminist rhetoric.

“It just always reveals to me how many misconceptions and what a misunderstanding there is of what feminism is,” she explained to Reuters during a press tour of her up-and-coming film “Beaty and the Beast.”

“Feminism is about giving women choice. Feminism is not a stick with which to beat other women with. It’s about freedom. It’s about liberation. It’s about equality. I really don’t know what my tits have to do with it!” she added.

Furthermore, the British actress also justified the shoot, claiming it was done in good taste and not in any form demeaning to women.

“We’d been doing so many crazy things on that shoot,” Watson said, “but it felt incredibly artistic and I’ve been so creatively involved and engaged with Tim (fashion photographer) and I’m so thrilled about how interesting and beautiful the photographs were.”  Khristian Ibarrola /ra
