Before You Exit

Despite undergoing an appendectomy earlier this month, Toby McDonough of the American group Before You Exit “feels well enough” to join  his brothers, Riley and Connor, in their first Asian tour.

The pop band is slated for a solo concert—mounted by MMI Live—today at the Kia Theatre. Gold ticket-holders will be eligible to attend a meet-and-greet session (Call 911-5555). This will be the trio’s fourth visit to the Philippines.

“Seeing our Filipino fans is always a highlight for us,” said Connor, adding that he and the rest of the group are excited to play new material from their fourth and latest EP, “All the Lights.”

Other shows: Canadian Shawn Mendes will take the stage on March 18 at the SM Mall of Asia (MoA) Arena. The young Australian Jess Kent will be guesting in the Manila stop of Coldplay’s “A Head Full of Dreams” tour on April 4 at the SM MoA Concert Grounds. The six-man Filipino-American vocal group Filharmonic will open for the all-girl pop act Fifth Harmony’s April 5 show at the SM MoA Arena. —ALLAN POLICARPIO
