Based on the classic characters who first appeared in Marvel Comics publications in 1965, “Inhumans” tells the story of a race of super-powered beings.

Rheon has been confirmed for the role of baddie Maximus the Mad, the younger brother of the leader of the Inhumans, Black Bolt.

Intelligent, charming and articulate, Maximus the Mad comes across as a man of the people. However, he is not what he seems and secretly covets power.

Rheon seems well suited to the role of the villain after playing the evil Ramsay Bolton on the hit HBO show “Game of Thrones.”

“Iwan’s ability to be charming, roguish, and still completely unexpectedly dangerous were all the different sides we needed to bring the character to life. We’re thrilled to have him on board,” said Jeph Loeb, head of Marvel Television and executive producer of the show.

“Inhumans” is set to premiere on ABC this fall, with the first two episodes premiering in IMAX theaters before the television debut.
