Damien Chazelle’s romantic musical has already made history with 14 Oscar nominations announced back in January. “La La Land” equals the current movie nominations record, joining ranks with “Eve” directed by Joseph L. Mankiewicz (1951), and James Cameron’s “Titanic” (1998).
