Since the revelation of her engagement to long-time boyfriend, food enthusiast Erwan Heussaff, actress Anne Curtis believes that her 2017 will be very busy, with her career and wedding preparations to juggle.
“When the engagement happened, in my mind I always thought it’s not going to happen this year, maybe it’s going to happen in another year, or am I readying my career and all the things I want to do in my bucket list? But when you actually meet the one, you just know na ito na talaga ‘yun (you just know that ‘this is it’). So there’s going to be a lot of planning. My birthday wish this year I guess is just to have a smooth sailing year of wedding planning,” she shared with a laugh to ABS-CBN News, at her official launch as the newest Jollibee endorser last February 15 in Glorietta.
Besides being a soon-to-be-Mrs., the Kapamilya actress says being Jollibee’s newest endorser is another achievement for her. “It’s just such a blessing talaga. I really feel that 2017 is going to be a year filled with love. I was discovered in Jollibee 20 years ago, so I guess you all know my age now [laughs],” she admitted. “Imagine if I wasn’t in Jollibee that very day, I wouldn’t be here today.”
The 32-year-old actress shares that her newest Jollibee commercial was very similar to her actual engagement, where the actress was seen in the video crying tears of joy.
She shared just a few details about her wedding. “Knowing Erwan, and it won’t be anything over the top. It will be very charming. Of course number one priority for Erwan will have to be good food,” she said.
She said the engagement ring that Heusaff gave her has a story she will share in the right time. “There’s a meaning behind the ring but I’ll tell that maybe in one of our pre-nuptials, the story behind it. Basta… I can’t wait to tell all of you [of] how beautiful the love story of Erwan and I [is],” she added.
Despite putting much effort on her upcoming wedding, Curtis will not let her showbiz commitments lag behind. Although disappointed about not having been permitted to join the Boston Marathon, she said she can just focus on movies and Showtime, as well as with training for another marathon this year. JB
