Third ‘Komiket’ convention

Komiket, the third Filipino Komiks Art Market, will have a two-day event, on Feb. 25 (Saturday Art Market, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Centris Elements, Quezon City) and Feb. 26 (Artist Talk, starting 1 p.m., Fully Booked Bonifacio Global City).

On the first day, meet over 300 comic book creators and be the first to buy new graphic novels and prints, and original art.

The next day, guest speakers include Arnold Arre, Carlo Vergara and the Inquirer’s Manix Abrera.

Winners of the Komiket Awards will also be announced. “Komiks Cum Laude,” an anthology comic book by student creators, will also be launched at 7 p.m. Entrance fee is P550. For details, visit the official Facebook page.
