TV5 contract artist Derek Ramsay shares with the Inquirer why he is still able to appear in film projects produced by a rival network.
“Right now, I have no guesting or show on television, but TV5 doesn’t stop me from growing. It allows me to do movies that are produced by (either) Star Cinema (or Regal Films).
I think I’m the only celebrity who is surviving out there by regularly appearing in films. My network bosses allow me to do the things that I do during the dates that they have previously blocked off but have no use for just yet. This is why I still get endorsements. I recently signed two new ones. It’s already awesome to get one major endorsement deal, but I got two.”—MARINEL R. CRUZ
