Gigi Hadid is in hot water again, this time for her “racist” gesture toward Asians.

The American supermodel was accused of racism after a clip displayed her trying to mock the face carved in a Buddha cookie. In the now-deleted clip posted on her sister Bella Hadid’s Snapchat, Gigi was seen bursting into laughter as she squinted her eyes while smiling and holding the biscuit.

A Twitter fan account of Gigi’s boyfriend, former “One Direction” crooner Zayn Malik, reposted the clip on Sunday and has caused intrigue on social media.

A number of Twitter users accused her of inappropriate action while some of Gigi’s fans brushed aside her recent gaffe, saying she was “simply joking.”

“Maybe she didn’t think it was Asian. Maybe not mock but imitate,” one user clarified. Another user said: “The problem is she tried to copy the Asian face thing while mocking an entire race for her own humor.”

Last year, Gigi, 21, was bashed for posing for Vogue Italia magazine coated with spray tan to depict an African-American model. Again, she made headlines for her imitation of First Lady Melania Trump during the 2016 American Music Awards.

After social media backlash for her brief speech, Gigi issued an apology on her social media accounts.  Gianna Francesca Catolico
