Eerily, “The Simpsons” continues to predict major events in global history, from the victory of now US President Donald Trump to the Ebola outbreak. This time, the family-oriented show foresaw Lady Gaga’s recent Super Bowl halftime gig as early as 2012.

In the 23rd season finale entitled “Lisa Goes Gaga,” the pop sensation serenaded her fans, known as her “Little Monsters,” while soaring over them in a harness, a similar stunt she did during her Super Bowl performance number on Monday (Sunday in the US). Also, the episode predicted that Lady Gaga would wear a silver jumpsuit, but unlike the episode, she did not wear a bra that could exhale flames.

Apparently, the show failed to foresee that Lady Gaga, 30, would open her 13-minute glittering show at Houston’s NRG Stadium with her version of “God Bless America” and “This Land Is Your Land.”

Some Twitter users noticed the uncanny similarities between “The Simpsons” skit and Lady Gaga’s spectacular medley.

Through her record-breaking performance, the “Born This Way” singer expressed her unique message of inclusion and respect for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities.
