The future looks bright for hot-to-trot Ronnie Alonte, especially coming on the heels of the recent Metro Manila Film Festival blockbusters, “Seklusyon” and “Vince & Kath & James,” where he shared top billing with Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto.
Hashtags’ 20-year-old member, who can also be seen in the prime-time TV series “A Love to Last” and the noontime program “It’s Showtime!” is gearing up for bigger and better things. Our short Q&A with Ronnie:
How would you describe your past relationships? I have not been in too many relationships. Most of the time, the girls would break up with me. I also don’t court girls.
What traits do you find attractive in girls? I like possessive girls. I like the type who sends me text messages, like “Nasaan ka na?” Gusto ko ’yung tipong nasasakal ako sa relationship… ganun. But I also like girls who are nice, God-fearing, well-bred—and someone who knows her role as a woman.
What turns you off? I don’t like girls who don’t act like how they should. ’Yun bang parang hindi siya babae kung dumikit-dikit sa mga lalake.
What do you think of gay propositions? I ignore them. Hindi ko na lang pinapansin.
How do you feel about your video scandal? I just laugh it off because that’s a long time ago. Nakakatawa talaga.
