Taylor Swift has proven that she can pull off a spectacular performance–by herself.
In preparation for her upcoming pre-Super Bowl performance on Saturday, the pop star strummed her very own stripped-down version of “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever,” her duet with Zayn Malik for the erotic film “Fifty Shades Darker.” Accompanying herself on a guitar, Swift showed signs of accelerating her music career this 2017.
Meanwhile, Malik dropped his acoustic version of their track on Thursday.
Talking to E! News, Swift, 27, good-heartedly described her working relationship with Malik. “It’s amazing when you get to work with people who you hang out with because the question of ‘will we get along’ is already answered. Like, ‘Yeah, we’ll get along—it’s Zayn. We hang out. Like, it’s fine.’ And he’s also incredibly talented, and I feel very lucky to get to do this song that I’m really proud of with him. It’s been amazing,” she said.
Just last week, Swift and Malik, 24, released an indulgent music clip for “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever.”
Swift will share the glitzy pre-event stage with The Chainsmokers, Snoop Dogg, Sam Hunt, Bruno Mars and Solange Knowles. Gianna Francesca Catolico
