“Josh Groban, a very good singer—[but] he’s what I call a man-whore,” comedienne Kathy Griffin told TV host Conan O’Brien recently in his self-titled talk show. The Emmy-winning Griffin, whose comedy includes juicy tidbits from her celebrity encounters, promoted her book, “Kathy Griffin’s Celebrity Run-Ins: My A-Z Index.”

“What you’re saying is that Josh Groban, the famous singer, has a secret life, where he enjoys the company of many different women?” asked O’Brien.

“I’m saying that he’s the John Mayer of opera,” Griffin nonchalantly declared.

Griffin “lovingly confronted” her pal Groban one night about his habit of picking female fans at shows to sing “The Prayer” with him. She related, “I was teasing [Josh], ‘You’re bringing these 19-year-olds onstage to sing with you…I see you for who you are!’”

Groban responded, according to Griffin, with: “Look, honey, this c–k isn’t gonna suck itself!”

A mortified O’Brien was rendered speechless, but collected himself seconds later to say, “Such lovely stories!”

‘Korra’ continues—in comics

The acclaimed animated series, “The Legend of Korra,” ended happily for powerful heroine Korra and adventuress Asami. It was heavily implied that the two were lesbian lovers by the series finale in 2014.

The relationship was confirmed by its showrunners, pleasing many fans of the pairing. Their story officially continues in graphic novel form, as cocreators Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko will be the writer and consultant, respectively, of the three-part “Turf Wars,” to be released in June.

Steve Grand

Openly gay ‘All-American’ crooner-calendar boy

Openly gay country singer-songwriter and model Steve Grand’s lauded first album, “All-American Boy,” debuted in 2015 and mostly consists of bittersweet, confessional pop-rock tracks he penned.

More recently, he worked on two editions of his 2017 calendar, which features the hunky singer in skimpy swimwear. They sold briskly via his website.

On his YouTube channel, Grand thanked his devout followers: “It’s been a great month, and you’ve been really supportive…That helps me [make] new creative content, which is why I go through all this trouble.”—Oliver Pulumbarit
