Eat Bulaga host Maine Mendoza has experienced the ultimate fan girl moment when she received a love button and a personal message from Coldplay singer Chris Martin.
In an Instagram post, the better half of the “Aldub” love team relayed how she was able to get what she considered “one of the most precious” gifts she has received in her life.
“Okay, this has got to be one of the most PRECIOUS gifts I have ever received in my entire life. Uhm no biggie, just a fan message and a love button from Chris Martin. OH MY GOOOOOOD!!!!! A friend, Ms. Mel, got them for me when Chris flew with them at Etihad. She asked Chris if he could write a simple message to one of his biggest Filipino fans– me! He willingly granted the request; he immediately grabbed the airline’s dining menu and wrote his short message in it”, she wrote.
According to Maine, a friend whom she calls “Ms. Mel,” who is a flight attendant, got those gifts for her when he flew with Etihad Airways. Ms. Mel even shared some “fun facts” about her (Maine) with the singer.
“(fun fact: he sat in the same seat as me when I flew to Morrocco) I was also told that Chris voluntarily gave the love button– that he wears all the time– to the flight attendant (Ms. Mel’s friend) and asked her to hand it to ME”, she continued.
At the end of her lengthy post, she thanked her friend for making things happen for her and Chris Martin for giving her the ultimate “fangirlinggoals.”
More than having the “Pambandang Bae” with her, she is now the envy of every Coldplay fan.
