PS gate-crashed an event for the chance to hobnob with VH’s Local Team. PS’ goal was to ingratiate herself with LT.
PS charmed her way into VH’s inner circle, wining and dining LT to the hilt.
PS’ gambit somehow worked.
Fast forward to here and now: PS has conveniently forgotten LT, which moved mountains and helped attain her dream date.
Perhaps PS believes in the adage: Love ’em, use ’em and leave ’em.
Dial D for deception
Now, it can be told.
No wonder Sensitive Performer goes ballistic every time Aggressive Upstart’s name crops up.
According to a mole, AU has been spreading all sorts of unsavory tattletales about SP.
AU even concocted a story that dredged up old rumors.
Alas, AU’s Wily Rival got wind of the idle chatter and dutifully warned SP about the betrayal.
Bandwagon effect
Hunky Newcomer’s Aggressive Drumbeaters thought they could get away with such a callous act.
ADs prevented HN from helping Hapless Coworkers with Struggling Enterprise.
Thing is, karma caught up with ADs and HN.
In the end, SE hit the jackpot, while HN was left holding an empty bag.
Is it too late for HN to jump on the bandwagon and join the winners’ circle?
Tsk. Tsk.
Frozen delight
Guess who’s now singing the theme song of “Frozen”?
Alluring Starlet is in big trouble.
AS apparently ruffled the feathers of Formidable Bosses for publicly shaming Scintillating Rival.
Problem is, SR is close to the Powers That Be. Just one call from SR and AS’ career was put in the freezer.
AS didn’t see it coming.
AS didn’t know that SR was extra chummy with one of the FBs. Emphasis on “extra.”
