Wondering what happened to Rapunzel after she lost her glowing blonde locks and reunited with her parents?
Disney brings back the long-haired royalty in a 2D TV series “Tangled: Before Ever After,” which follows the 3D-animated film “Tangled” and short film “Tangled: Ever After.” On Friday, the animation giant uploaded the series’ trailer on YouTube.
“Did you see the 70 feet of my father’s going to kill me growing from my head?” she exclaimed after she saw her locks again.
Voice actors Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi will reprise their role as Rapunzel and her charming husband, Flynn Rider, known as “Eugene.” The story narrates Rapunzel’s inelegant and awkward reunion with her golden hair, and at some points she asks her sidekick Cassandra (Eden Espinosa) to cut it. However, the scissors wrangle and her hair is be destined to flow freely forever, Entertainment Weekly reported.
Also, the couple’s treasured pets, Rapunzel’s lizard Pascal and Eugene’s valiant horse Maximus, will appear in the series.
In the end, Eugene slices off Rapunzel’s hair using a glass shrapnel to end Mother Gothel’s vicious reign. The two tied the knot in “Tangled: Ever After” in 2012.
“Tangled: Before Ever After” will hit Disney Channel sometime in March. Gianna Francesca Catolico
