As the Hwarang’s second assignment, chief Hwarang We Hwa required the members to perform during the Thanksgiving festival of Silla.

Ban Ryu expressed his opposition to the idea, thinking that they had to do this for the queen – something Ban Ryu hated the most.

“I am not telling you to perform for the Queen, but to present the people with dance and music, so that they can enjoy and be happy,” said the chief.
