Singer and songwriter Lorde has expressed interest in forming a “super girl band” with Charli XCX and Carly Rae Jepsen.
The “Royals” songstress stunned her fans with a portrait of her with the “Call Me Maybe” hitmaker and “After the Afterparty” singer. However, it’s her photo’s caption that left social media thrilled and amused.
“Can we form a hot girl band one day?” she tweeted on Wednesday, tagging Jepsen and Charli XCX. Charli XCX responded with a flash, “We are a hot girl band! Promise no one’s gonna go solo.” As expected, fans of the three ladies leaped with joy upon hearing their plan to team up anytime soon.

Lorde is currently prepping up for her second album, which will be released this year, while Charli XCX is also expected to release a successor to her 2015 album “Sucker” and 2016 extended playlist “Vroom Vroom.” Just last month, Jepsen dropped her newest single, “Better than Me,” with vocals by Blood Orange.
