WATCH: Steph Curry appears as himself in ‘Family Guy’ cameo

Reining NBA MVP Steph Curry remains popular even outside basketball, and his appearance in the latest episode of the famed adult animated sitcom “Family Guy” just shows, albeit humorously, how ‘The Golden Boy’ has endeared himself to all sorts of fans.

As seen in the skit, the show’s protagonist Peter Griffin bumps into the Golden State Warriors’ superstar as he was strolling around San Francisco.

The ever whimsical character then asks the one-time NBA Champion if he could sit on his lap during his next postgame conference—much like Curry’s daughter Riley did last year.

“Sure, I don’t see why not,” Curry obliged.

Hilarity then ensued, as Griffin hysterically mimicked the viral toddler’s shenanigans at what appeared to be a standard NBA post-game conference.

The overweight, bespectacled character yawned, played with the mic and even demanded a ‘fat’ lady to leave the audience.

He got his wish and raised his hands in glee and shouted, “Yay, I’m learning bad lessons.”

Created by Seth McFarlane, Family Guy is best known for its crude humor and wacky celebrity impressions.

Surprisingly enough, the episode did not poke fun at the Warriors losing a 3-1 lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers in last year’s NBA finals.
