Momma’s golden boy

To celebrate the golden milestone of her only son, singer-actor Jason Gould, on his 50th birthday, Barbra Streisand (right) posted this photo on Dec. 29, with the caption, “Happy birthday to my darling son @jasongouldmusic. Love, Mom.” Jason is Barbra’s son with her first husband, character actor Elliott Gould, to whom the legendary diva was married from 1963 to 1971.

As an actor, Jason was seen in the 1989 rom-com, “Say Anything,” and 1991’s “The Prince of Tides,” where he played his director mother’s onscreen son. But he’s better appreciated by critics for his Extended Play (EP) recordings and his exceptional duet with his mother, “How Deep is the Ocean.”—Rito Asilo
