Mocha Uson’s appointment as a member of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) was a “good choice,” a comedian-turned senator said on Thursday.
“Good choice. Congrats,” Senate Majority Leader Vicente “Tito” Sotto III said in a text message when sought for reaction on Uson’s appointment.
Asked why he thinks Uson was a good choice, Sotto said, “She abounds with common sense and has a good pulse of the public.”
“She will do a lot better than some people I know,” the senator added but did not elaborate.
Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar said Uson was appointed to the MTRCB on Jan. 3 along with Jeremiah Jaro.
