Vic Sotto escorted his daughter, Paulina Luz Sotto, down the aisle when she got married to Jed Salgado Llanes on New Year’s Day at the Pico de Loro Beach and Country Club in Nasugbu, Batangas.

On Tuesday, Nice Print Photography uploaded a six-minute clip on YouTube showing the newlyweds’ heartwarming journey and their exchange of vows in front of their family and friends. Sotto was filmed holding back his tears.

Guests who attended the wedding were relatives including Danica Sotto-Pingris, Lala Sotto, Gian Sotto, Oyo Boy Sotto and Vico Sotto. Vic Sotto’s wife, Pauleen Luna; mother of the bride, Angela Luz; and Sen. Grace Poe were also present in the elegant nuptials.

“When I met you back in August 2014, I eventually knew you would be my best friend, my partner in crime, my other half, the love of my life, and the person I would want to share the rest of my life with,” she told her bridegroom. “And whether it’s through your small acts of kindness or your grand gestures, you make sure I feel loved and cared for every single day, even when I don’t deserve it. For that, I feel so lucky and so blessed.”  Gianna Francesca Catolico
