Former “High School Musical” (HSM) best friends Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens reunited in a nostalgic collaboration after a decade-long clamor from their fans.
In a video uploaded on her newly furnished YouTube page on Tuesday, Tisdale shared the mic with Hudgens to perform their cover of Elle King’s “Ex’s and Oh’s.” Tisdale’s hubby, Christopher French, accompanied on a guitar.
“We are really excited to do this because this is actually our first duet together,” Tisdale said. “We did not have a song in ‘High School Musical’ with just the two of us. We always wanted one.”
Two weeks ago, the actress-singer, 31, greeted Hudgens on her 28th birthday with a throwback snap.

“HSM” fanatics were disappointed when Sharpay Evans (Tisdale) and Gabriella Montez (Hudgens) failed to duet for the Disney Channel trilogy, which aired in 2006 and which was watched by 7 million viewers. As Disney is beefing up the blockbuster show’s fourth installment, fans still hope for a reunion between the two “Wildcat” cheerleaders and Zac Efron, who played Troy Bolton in the series.
