It may be winter in Europe, but Eugene Domingo finds the holidays more blissful as she gets to spend Christmas with her off-screen “leading man” in Italy.
The “Ang Babae sa Septic Tank” protagonist shared posts of her intimate moments with Danilo, her Italian boyfriend. “Merry Christmas to all with love and lots of gratitude,” she captioned her video where she is seen having a dinner with Danilo and his family.

Meanwhile, in a separate Instagram post, the actress-comedienne, 45, thanked Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) moviegoers and fans for their support for her film and other indie films. “Gusto ko pong magpasalamat sa lahat ng nanood ng ‘Ang Babae sa Septic Tank 2’ (I’d like to thank all those who watched ‘Ang Babae sa Septic Tank 2’),” she said.
She added, “Pumunta na po kayo sa mga sinehan. Let’s support MMFF. It’s super kilig, it’s super funny, at mag-e-enjoy kayo sa ‘Ang Babae sa Septic Tank 2’ (Please go to the cinemas. Let’s support MMFF. It’s super-thrilling, it’s super-funny, and you will enjoy ‘Ang Babae sa Septic Tank 2’).”
Domingo is currently in a long-distance romantic relationship Danilo, a film critic whom she met at the 2014 Far East Film Festival in Udine, Italy. She starred in Jun Lana’s film “Barber’s Tales,” which was screened in the festival and bestowed an audience choice award.
“He approached me, and I wasn’t ready! I looked tired. The aura I exuded was probably dark,” she told reporters in a recent press conference for her 2016 MMFF entry. Gianna Francesca Catolico
