How do you intend to celebrate the holidays this year?

I cooked ube halaya on Christmas Day this year. My family and I stayed at home, as always, but on New Year’s Eve, we will transfer to the new condo unit of my sister in Rockwell, Makati. It will be a first for all of us there. I don’t have any material gifts for myself this year, just the determination to lose more weight. If I were to assess my 2016, I’d say that there were some goals I’ve set for myself that weren’t fulfilled. I plan to do better in 2017. —MARINEL R. CRUZ
