“Huramentado (Oath to Die)”

Apart from winning in the Delhi fest, Noriel Jarito’s “Huramentado (Oath to Die),” won the Omega Prize and Special Mention in Editing at the CIM Sueca film festival held in Spain.

The CIM or Crappy International Movies Sueca aims to celebrate “low-budget films… B and Z movies, trash, gore, underground.” The fest’s site describes “Huramentado” as a “thrilling action [film] with plenty of fighting and shooting scenes, made with a bunch of will and no technical means, which [had] real impact on the audience.”—Bayani San Diego Jr.
