To animate the spirit of Christmas, Katy Perry and her “prince charming” Orlando Bloom brought the holiday cheer to children confined at the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, California.

The “Rise” songstress, 32, and the “Lord of the Rings” actor, 39, signed autographs, posed for selfies and interacted with the young patients on Tuesday.

“This week, Santa (Orlando Bloom) and I got to spread some cheer and have a carol sing-a-long with some beautiful children at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles,” she captioned her portrait on Instagram. “I love the music therapy program there… it lifts spirits and heals hearts.”

“I know for me, music has always been healing. I hope everyone can give back this season in their own way. That’s the greatest gift of all,” she added.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Perry sang some of her greatest hits during the event, including “Firework,” with Bloom sitting beside her.

The couple is no stranger when it comes to charity work. Perry was appointed as United Nations Children’s Fund (Unicef) Goodwill Ambassador this year while Bloom was honored with the same title in 2015.

Despite focusing on Unicef projects this year, Perry teased her upcoming single online, which was drawn from her personal experiences while campaigning for Democratic Party candidate Hillary Clinton.

“It’s funny, sometimes people who disagree with me just say, ‘Shut up and sing’. Boy, will I do so in a whole new way… next year. Hell hath no fury like a woman reborn,” she captioned her Instagram photo with Clinton. Gianna Francesca Catolico
