Fil-Am idol may be recruited by Sandara Park’s talent agency
In the latest episode of KPop Star, Filipino-American contestant Kriesha Tiu continues to amaze the judges with her stage presence.
In the ranking audition, Kriesha sang “Emergency Room” by Izi, a beloved song to locals and one that will always be in the playlist of any noraebang (karaoke) party. She also danced to Ariana Grande’s “Focus.”
After her performance, one of the judges, Park Jinyoung (JYP Entertainment CEO), noted that the way she commands the audience with her vocals, dance, and facial expression was as if she is already a star.
“The way you sing and dance, you look like a star,” CEO Park said, “That’s more important than how well you sing or dance. You glow somehow.”
However, YG Entertainment CEO Yang Hyunsuk had other things in mind besides having Kriesha move forward in the competition.
