Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion are making a monumental comeback in a film slated for release in mid-2017.
In several Facebook posts on Thursday, the Megastar announced that she would reunite with the heartthrob in a film to be produced by Star Cinema Productions. “The return to the big screen of Sharon and Gabby brought to you by ABS-CBN Star Cinema Productions. Coming to you by 2017! Directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina,” she captioned her post.

To tease their nostalgic fans, Cuneta uploaded samples of their movie posters that glistened during the decades, including “P.S. I Love You,” “My Love,” “Pati ba Pintig ng Puso?,” “Bakit Ikaw Pa Rin” and “Tayong Dalawa,” their last filmed, released in 1992.
After she broke the announcement online, many of their die-hard fans mentioned that her upcoming film with Concepcion was their “answered prayer.”
Meanwhile, Concepcion previously mentioned that he wished to lead in a movie sequel of “Una Kang Naging Akin,” his 1991 film with Cuneta and Dawn Zulueta.
