Bizarre love unfolds between Han Hyo-joo and Lee Jong-suk in MBC’s “W: Two Worlds.”

One of MBC’s latest dramas, “W: Two Worlds,” shows how falling in love with a webtoon character can be both satisfying and frustrating.

Cardiothoracic surgeon Oh Yeonjoo’s (Han Hyo-joo) father is a well-known webtoon artist whose creation, W, has gone ridiculously viral in South Korea. Just before the webtoon could end, Hyo-joo’s father went missing – talk about a major cliffhanger.

Determined to find her father (and to find out the ending), she went to his office to look for clues only to discover in his father’s computer an unfinished scene of the webtoon’s hero, Kang Chul (Lee Jong-suk), dying on a rooftop.

Hyo-joo was about to give up when she felt a hand tug on her. She turns around and is mortified to see a bloodied hand shoot out from the screen, gripping her sleeve. The hand pulled her in, transporting her into the scene, where she now stands on the rooftop in front of a dying Kang Chul.
