Power-tripping bigwig betrays old pal

/ 12:03 AM December 07, 2016

Some people assumed that Seasoned Veteran hit the jackpot because old pals are now in positions of power.

SV is purportedly a close personal friend of Influential Bigwig.

Does that mean SV can easily score plum projects in IB’s turf?

Fat chance.

FEATURED STORIES

SV’s friendship with IB turned out to be a liability, not an asset.

IB blocked SV’s inclusion in a high-profile venture. Perhaps IB wanted to avoid talk of favoritism.

But then again, it can also be because SV knew too much about IB’s lurid past.

And IB wanted SV out of the picture, pronto.

SV was crestfallen, blindsided by IB’s act of betrayal.

Not so smart-alecky

Cute Charmer is a major turn-off.

At a recent gathering, CC seemed a bit too smart-alecky, dishing out one-liners in an uninspired and perfunctory manner.

CC was not having a blast and didn’t bother to hide it.

High-and-mighty CC obviously looked down on everyone.

But then again, could it be that CC was being defensive? Was CC afraid of getting unmasked as a dense and dumb pretender?

Good-looking CC is superficiality personified.

Opposites attract

At the same event, however, CC’s Luminous Coworker was bubbly and loquacious.

LC is the complete opposite of off-putting CC.

Makes one wonder why LC and CC get along on the set.

Maybe LC is merely tolerating CC’s boorish behavior. But then again, LC has a tendency to be extra “chummy” with costars.

Ahem.

LC insists, however, that romance is completely out of the question.

Defensive, much?

Cursed beauty

Legendary Beauty once complained to a friend that physical allure was a curse.

LB frequently attracted unwelcome attention from the most relentless and repellent of suitors in her youth.

Debonair Partner turned out to be a complete jerk who took advantage of LB in intimate scenes.

Former Sweetheart was just as despicable.

Much too often, LB had to fend off admirers’ revolting advances.

LB was sometimes unsuccessful in avoiding such sticky situations and had to endure not just the usual harassment. LB suffered insufferable abuse in the hands of these supposedly upright gentlemen.

From ravishing to ravaged

From the Inquirer tabloid Bandera:

Stunning Starlet used to be ravishing. Now, SS simply looks ravaged.

SS seems worn and tired, stressed and frazzled. So much like dried fruit.

According to the grapevine, SS is unhappy on the homefront.

SS’ Wealthy Hubby hardly ever showers the poor girl with marital attention, and affection, that’s why.

Is SS deprived in the boudoir?
