Kris Aquino and Maine Mendoza, two of the biggest stars handled by APT Entertainment, met to watch the screening of “Enteng Kabisote 10 and the Abangers” on Wednesday.

The “Queen of All Media” filmed her hang-out session with the Dubsmash Queen in her first-ever Facebook Live video on her page on Wednesday.

“It’s actually the first time I’m going to meet her,” Aquino said before introducing herself to Mendoza.

After shaking hands with Mendoza, Aquino bluntly exclaimed, “Maraming salamat for doing this. Ang lamig ng kamay mo. Pinapanerbiyos ba kita (Thank you for doing this. Your hand is cold. Am I making you nervous)?” Mendoza honestly responded by saying she was slightly nervous.

The two celebrities began conversing about their hometowns in Bulacan. Aquino’s mother, the late Pres. Corazon Cojuangco-Aquino, hailed from the town of Malolos while the Mendoza family resided in Sta. Maria.

Also, the former ABS-CBN TV personality bragged to Mendoza that she and 11 other friends watched “Imagine You and Me,” Mendoza’s romance flick with love-team partner Alden Richards. The film, which was set in dreamy Lake Como in Italy, so enraptured Aquino that she vowed to tour the exquisite place someday.

“Talagang nasa bucket list ko, I have to go to Italy and spend my birthday there,” said the former ABS-CBN actress. “Ang napuntahan ko lang ay yung sa Vatican, tsaka yung Florence (I only traveled to Vatican and Florence).”

They also talked about their ages and their corresponding zodiac signs. “Year of the Pig ka din? Oh my God, ka-age mo si Kuya [Noynoy Aquino] at si Josh [her eldest son] (Are you Year of the Pig? You have the same year as my brother and Josh), “Aquino realized.

Likewise, the Kalyeserye sweetheart revealed that some of the film’s scenes, especially her scenes with Richards, were shot in Bohol.

Both Aquino and Mendoza entered UP Town Center to watch the film and interacted with a few lucky fans, who took selfies with them.  Gianna Francesca Catolico
