What is your most memorable holiday season? How do you intend to celebrate Christmas this year?

My daughter Natalie was born on Oct. 18, nine years ago. So I’d have to say that Christmas 2007 was exceptionally unforgettable. My son David was born three years later, so 2010 was our first Christmas with both kids. Every Christmas since then has been about our children, family and the wonderful reminder of God’s love.

We usually spend Christmas with our folks, but come New Year, we shy away from celebrating at midnight.

None of us really like the mayhem.

We prefer to celebrate early morning of the new year by going out of town to have a quiet breakfast in a special place and just spend the rest of the day there, enjoying the kids while they are still young. —BAYANI SAN DIEGO JR.
