Ex-Superman and current Atom, Brandon Routh a cool dad

A decade after his portrayal of archetypal superhero Superman, Brandon Routh is playing another DC character, the shrinking scientist Ray Palmer aka Atom, in “Legends of Tomorrow.”

The Bryan Singer-helmed “Superman Returns” had no sequel, and Routh appeared in less-prominent projects thereafter. But he seems to be enjoying his current career path. His 4-year-old son, Leo, is loving his pop’s hero gig—the kid’s been seen hanging around the set of “Legends’” sister show, “The Flash.”

Leo even got to play with Flash himself, actor Grant Gustin, when the latter was resting between takes. Leo raced him, quickly trouncing the speedster, as shown in a short, phone-recorded video. “I won,” declared the Atom’s (and ex-Superman’s) cute kid.

From Princess Leia to a Scream Queen’s mom

The princess is a mom. “Star Wars” actress Carrie Fisher has so far appeared in four films of the popular sci-fi saga as Leia Organa. With former partner Bryan Lourd, Carrie has a daughter, Billie, who is one of the cast members of the horror-comedy series, “Scream Queens.” Billie Lourd appeared briefly in “The Force Awakens” as Lt. Connix, a fellow member of Leia’s resistance group. The 24-year-old is back in the second season of “Scream Queens” as Chanel #3, one of the series’ mean girls.

From feral mutant to ‘Wild’ pop idol

Before Troye Sivan became a YouTube sensation with over two million subscribers, he was a child actor who played the young wild mutant, Logan, in 2009’s “X-Men Origins: Wolverine.” Prior to that, the Australian talent played the title role in the musical, “Oliver.” The “Youth” and “Wild” singer, 21, came out of the closet in 2013, and is admired by pop stars Adele, Taylor Swift and Sam Smith.
