Popular Filipino dance group Streetboys reunited for an impromptu number in Singapore.
Jhong Hilario and Vhong Navarro, mainstay hosts for noontime show “It’s Showtime,” flew to Singapore to witness fellow member Meynard Marcellano marry his longtime girlfriend on Wednesday night.
Navarro shared clips of their entertaining intermission number on Twitter, noting that their comic performance was “unrehearsed.” During the wedding procession, the gentlemen coalesced on stage and danced the viral dance crazes “Pen Pineapple Apple Pen,” “Talk Dirty” and “Trumpets.”
To the guests’ delight, several members of the group performed stunts before joshingly posing.
Streetboys was formed in 1993 and revered for their smash hit “Boom Tiyaya” in 1997 and their head-on competition against dance troupe Universal Motion Dancers during the decade.
Despite disbandment, the former members forged their solo careers in TV hosting and acting. Original members include Navarro, Hilario, Spencer Reyes, Michael Sesmundo, Nicko Manalo, Meynard Marcellano, Christopher Cruz, Joey Andres and Joseph de Leon. Gianna Francesca Catolico
