WATCH: Miley Cyrus grieves over Clinton loss, ‘accepts’ Trump

Miley Cyrus poured out her heart after her bet, Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, was defeated by Donald Trump.

In a heartbreaking clip uploaded on her social media accounts, the “Voice” coach, who filmed herself sniffling and sobbing, thanked Clinton for her womanly assertiveness and allegiance to public service, both in the US and overseas.

“I just wish that she (Hillary Clinton) had that opportunity because she’s fought for so long. And because I believe her when she says she loves this country, this is all she’s ever done, she’s given her life to make it better. But like Donald Trump so ironically played after his speech, ‘You Can’t Always Get What You Want,’” she wept, referencing the title of Rolling Stones’ hit that Trump used as his track during his victory address on Wednesday.

Cyrus, 23, also encouraged her fans to heal and forgive, now that the American people peacefully cast their vote on Trump. “Please just treat people with love, and treat people with compassion, and treat people with respect, and I will do the same for you,” she advised her followers on Wednesday. “If you want to open your mind and open your heart, I would love to give you a key.”

“Hopefully we adjust and we accept everyone for who they are, and, so, Donald Trump, I accept you,” she added. “This hurts to say, but I even accept you as President of the United States, and that’s fine, because, now, I want to be a hopeful hippie. I want to be hopeful that you will step in, too.”

Cyrus, together with Hollywood personalities Katy Perry, Lay Gaga and Beyonce, endlessly campaigned for Clinton during the election period.  Gianna Francesca Catolico
