As if staying true to her “Encantadia 2016” character, Alena, keeper of the water gem, young actress Gabbi Garcia did her predebut party photo shoot on the beach.

In a previous interview, Gabbi, who turns 18 on Dec. 2, said she wanted something nontraditional, something spontaneous. Will onscreen partner Ruru Madrid be her escort? We’ll see. —ALLAN POLICARPIO
