Oh, snap! Raven Baxter is returning after years of hiatus on Disney Channel and everyone’s childhood memories.
Raven-Symoné, who played Raven Baxter in the 2003 indelible sitcom “That’s So Raven,” announced that she is starring in the show’s second spinoff. She announced the thrilling news in the talk show “The View” on Thursday, in which she said that she would resign from the show to focus on preparing for the upcoming reboot.
Symoné revealed on the show’s episode, “As you guys have noticed, I’ve been here on Fridays mostly that’s because I’ve been working eternally with the Disney company.”
“I’m very excited, but If you have seen the show, but I used to do the show ‘That’s so Raven,’ and we’re going to do ‘That’s so Raven 2,'” she added.
In preparation, Symoné, 30, will relocate from New York to Los Angeles, California, to tape the gripping series and call for new talents to audition for “That’s So Raven 2.”
The show’s upgraded plot depicts Raven, a divorced mother of two preteen kids, a son and a daughter. One of her kids inherited Raven’s extraordinary ability to foresee glimpses of the future. The script will be penned by Scott Thomas and Jed Elinoff, who will exec-produce the show with Symoné, Deadline reported.
