Annabelle Rama seeks dismissal of child abuse, defamation cases

MANILA, Philippines—Talent manager Annabelle Rama on Tuesday asked the Quezon City prosecutors office to dismiss the child abuse and oral defamation cases filed against her by former actress Nadia Montenegro.

In her counter-affidavit, Rama, wife of actor Eddie Gutierrez, claimed that the charges lodged by Montenegro on behalf of her two minor daughters were lacking in sufficient evidence.

The feisty talent manager said Montenegro’s allegations were “false and untruthful” and intended to destroy her reputation.
