Rachelle Ann out of ‘Divas’

Rachelle Ann Go has pulled out of “Divas: Live in Manila,” a concert she was supposed to coheadline with Yeng Constantino, Kyla, Angeline Quinto and KZ Tandingan in November, after booking a “major project” related to musical theater, according to the singer-actress’ manager, Erickson Raymundo.

The performer is currently in London, portraying Fantine in the West End staging of “Les Miserables.” Prior to this gig, she played Gigi in “Miss Saigon.” Earlier this year, the 30-year-old pop star-turned-theater artist expressed a desire to do a show on Broadway, and said that, given the opportunity, she would love to be a part of “Wicked” or “Hamilton.” Allan Policarpio
