Because they cherish their celebrity status, Ellen DeGeneres and Britney Spears “barged” into a mall in Los Angeles, California, and “demanded” VIP treatment.
The TV host and “Do You Wanna Come Over” singer sashayed at Westfield Fashion Square and shot a humorous segment for Ellen’s show. For one day, Spears, 34, and DeGeneres, 58, tried to experience the hassle-free, attention-savvy, and fabulous life celebrities like them enjoy.
“I wanted to take advantage of the celebrity lifestyle with my famous friends,” DeGeneres told the audience on her Wednesday episode. “So I called Britney Spears and took her to the Westfield Fashion Square Mall. I told her we could do whatever we wanted because we’re famous.”
They started their mischievous journey by playing with a colorful punching bag. Noticing her weak kicks, DeGeneres hilariously yelled at Spears, “You better work, B*tch!”
Aside from “stealing” a gray suit and a handbag, the mischievous duo ate ice cream at a lavish restaurant where DeGeneres scared off bystanders wanting to take pictures of them. Also, Spears taught DeGeneres how to strut like a rocking chic in heels, saying that her “hips don’t lie.”
They also interacted with several children and their parents and encouraged them to be celebrities in the future. “Start auditioning them early. Start putting them on diets, get them facials [and] massages. If you want to be taken care of by your children, start auditioning them now,” she instructed them.
The segment concluded with the pair curling up in a bed displayed at a furniture store. Gianna Francesca Catolico
