Watch out for more of Ai-Ai’s bikini photos
BECAUSE of the “positive feedback” from netizens to her Instagram photo in a bikini, comedienne Ai-Ai delas Alas said she now plans to post more of her sexy photos.
“You’ll be seeing me post more photos while wearing a two-piece [bikini],” said Ai-Ai, now 51. “I never imagined that I could do it. I just wanted to live healthy.”
Now that she is visibly thinner, she said she was open to posing sexy for men’s magazines. She hopes to join the list of sexy hot mommas like Dina Bonnevie, Pops Fernandez, Eula Valdes and Jean Garcia, who all titillated men by posing on the cover of FHM.
“Feelingera naman ako! As if they would actually get me. I’ll be ranked 101st,” she said, referring to FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women list released annually.
The comedienne has lost some 20 lbs. since she decided to change her diet six months ago. “I only eat organic food. I also stopped eating meat and dairy products. I don’t take sugar, except honey and fructose—but only in small amounts. I also cut down on salt,” she told the Inquirer.
The actress clarified that the lifestyle change wasn’t in preparation for her role as an aging prostitute in Louie Ignacio’s indie drama, “Area.”
She explained: “It was just a coincidence. I’ve been suffering from psoriasis since I was 15. I would experience skin flare-ups from time to time. I recently read this cookbook and followed its instructions. I got better, even my migraine and asthma disappeared. But I’d do anything to be worthy of the role in ‘Area’—it’s one of my
dream roles.”

Ai-Ai said she was excited about the prospect of her movie competing in international film festivals. “We’re scheduled to be part of one film fest in September, but I can’t reveal [anything just] yet. I want to experience attending film fests abroad. I’ll try to join Direk Louie if it does not clash with my work here,” she said.
Now free
On her love life, Ai-Ai reported that her divorce from her ex-husband of only over a month, Jed Salang—whom she wed in Las Vegas in the United States in 2013—was finally recognized by a local court.
But while she’s now free to remarry, Ai-Ai said that she and her current boyfriend, Gerald Sibayan, are in no rush to tie the knot. “Maybe in four years,” the Kapuso talent said, adding that Gerald, who’s almost 30 years younger, is still saving up, so he could give her a nice wedding.
“He wants my accessories, my gown and my ring to be pretty,” she revealed at a recent press conference for the noontime comedy show “Sunday PinaSaya’s” coming first anniversary celebration. “I teased him that I want to wear Jimmy Choos, to which he retorted, ‘Can’t you just wear
Janilyns?’”
What’s her dream wedding like? “I want something simple, perhaps at a church here,” Ai-Ai said.
She also recently finished filming the Regal Films-produced comedy, “Mighty Yaya,” with Megan Young, under the helm of Jose Javier Reyes.
