Since its 2010 debut, “The Walking Dead” has clicked with televiewers, even eliciting raves as “the flat-out scariest, best, most unusual show on the small screen.” Now, the hit show about a deadly virus that turns droves of people into mindless, flesh-eating zombies is on TV5, where it premiered last Thursday at 7 p.m., after “Aksyon.”

‘Life Songs’
“Life Songs with Charo Santos,” the 25th anniversary album of “Maala-ala Mo Kaya,” features performances by a host of gifted singers, from Aiza Seguerra, Darren Espanto, Gary Valenciano, Julia Concio, and Lani Misalucha, to Ogie Alcasid, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Noel Cabangon, Piolo Pascual and Sharon Cuneta.

Veteran star Nicolas Cage topbills “USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage,” subtitled “Disaster at Philippine Sea,” a naval epic that relives the worst sea disaster in the history of the US Navy. Other leads include Tom Sizemore, Thomas Jane and Matt Lanter.
PVB traveling exhibit
Philippine Veterans Bank’s award-winning World War II traveling exhibit will take part in History Con Manila on Aug. 25-28 at the World Trade Center.
The exhibit, “War of Our Fathers,” features photos, memorabilia and artifacts that document and pay tribute to the heroism of our soldiers.
