Druggie pals get powerful personality in trouble

IT WAS only a matter of time.

Powerful Celebrity finally gets dragged into a lurid scandal involving illicit substances.

Social media has been buzzing about PC’s entanglements with certain dubious personalities. Supporters claim PC’s junkie pals are to blame, though.

Graying Entertainer would often visit PC to ask for moolah—ostensibly, to sustain a nasty habit. PC’s Close Relation is hooked on drugs, too.

Naysayers pointed out that PC would often turn a blind eye to the shenanigans of kith and kin. Does it follow then that PC likewise tolerates bigger misdeeds in society?

That is the million-peso question.

Genetic

Being materialistic runs in the family, no doubt.

Bubbly Starlet frequently brags about the designer duds in her closet.

Problem is, BS’ career has hit a rough patch of late and she can no longer afford to go on extravagant shopping sprees.

As luck would have it, BS caught the eye of Wealthy Suitor whose family seems to own a bottomless well of cold, hard cash. Will BS encourage WS’ amorous pursuit?

Are the Glamorous Elders of BS similarly predisposed to take advantage of such a windfall?

Double Pak. Ganern!

Family trouble

Promising Performer had to learn it the hard way. That it is unwise to work with family.

PP turned to Gung-ho Relative for help in mounting a production.

Before PP knew it, GR took over the entire gig.

Worse, GR turned out to be a monster on- and offstage.

PP’s coworkers were stunned speechless. But PP mustered enough courage to kick GR out of the project.

That was their first—and last—collaboration.

Good riddance.

Insecurity blanket

As a newbie in the biz, Admired Artist used to work under Haughty Luminary, who is a stern taskmaster.

How quickly the tides have turned. AA is now more successful than HL.

As expected, HL frequently badmouths AA. HL is clearly jealous of AA’s good fortune.

Thing is, HL should be proud because AA never tires of acknowledging the kindness of past bosses—including spiteful HL.

Oh.

Small but terrible

From the Inquirer tabloid Bandera:

Speaking of the green-eyed monster…

Petite Beauty pretends to be the BFF of Talented Star.

PB often acts chummy in front of TS. Behind her buddy’s back, however, PB spews out all sorts of lies. According to a mole, PB is envious of TS—whose career is booming and love life is blooming.

PB, on the other hand, lays a big fat egg on both the professional and personal fronts.

No wonder insecure PB goes berserk every time there is good news about TS in the papers.
