“Suicide Squad’s” “heroic villains” scored on local screens last week with a smash opening weekend gross of P161 million in four days. Its US total was $135 million, while it grossed $132 million internationally (in 57 territories).

“I America” and “Kusina” will have additional screenings at the CCP Main Theater today, at 10 a.m. and 12:45 p.m., respectively, as will  “Mercury Is Mine” (3:30 p.m. at the Little Theater) and “Tuos” (3:30 p.m. at Huseng Batute) tomorrow.

Game-changing cinema technology

At Greenbelt 3, the game-changing cinema technology, 4DX theater at Cinema 4 is equipped with 144 “magical motion” seats, with special environment effects like shaker, water, fog and scents for “fully immersive” viewing.

In addition, Cinema 5 now has 92 fully motorized leather recliner seats.
