International furniture company IKEA has responded to Kanye West’s touching ambition to collaborate with them. The company joked on social media that they could carve a bed to make West “famous.”
The bed has similar technology to the bed Kanye used in his seductive music video “Famous,” in which he slept with nine other individuals in one giant-sized bed.
In a phone patch interview with BBC’s Radio One host Annie Mac, he asserted,“I have to work with—furniture for interior design, for architecture.”
Back in April, West showed interest in designing beds by sketching this:

“Yo Ikea, allow Kanye to create, allow him to make this thing because you know what, I want a bed that he makes, I want a chair that he makes,” he pleaded in the third person. He also expressed his interest to decorate minimalist dormitory rooms for students.
However, in an interview with CNBC, a spokesperson for the company said they had no plans to collaborate with the singer.
“Although we are really flattered by Kanye West’s high interest in IKEA and the speculation around a joint venture, we have no plans to collaborate at this point in time,” the spokesperson said.
He tweeted in March about his first visit to IKEA, saying “his mind is racing with possibilities.”
