Gabbi Garcia: I’m no prima donna

Young actress Gabbi Garcia on being tagged a “prima donna” for allegedly refusing to let a group of dancers ride with her in a van going to Manila, after an out-of-town gig: “It was a misunderstanding… I won’t deny that I cried over this issue—I was crying for two nights. I’m not ashamed to admit this because I’m just human, I have feelings. I know that I didn’t have anything to do with it.”

She added that her screen partner Ruru Madrid and veteran comedienne Ai-Ai delas Alas gave her comforting messages: “They told me not to mind it, because they know who I really am,” Gabbi related. Allan Policarpio
