New facts about upcoming Star Wars Episode VIII

As the Star Wars Celebration Europe came to a close, fans of the series gleamed several facts about the upcoming movie.

– Production started while Episode VII was still being made
– Episode VIII was inspired by several movies like 12 O’clock High, Bridge of the River Kwai, Gunga Din and Three Outlaw Samurai
– VIII begins exactly where VII ended
– Episode VIII will delve deeper into the characters
– The movies still used many practical effects
– The directors each tried to make cameos in their movies.

On another note, Alden Ehrenreich was announced as the official new Han Solo who will be starring in the film about young Han Solo.

Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher also made a surprise appearance at the event together with their dogs Milli and Gary Fisher.  Alfred Bayle
